Sprout Show is a Muppet-style educational series created by kids, for kids, focused on nutrition, healthy habits, and fun! As part of the summer camp, students (ages 8–18) help bring the show to life by learning how to write scripts, build puppets, design sets, and film episodes. Through hands-on production, they gain real experience in storytelling, teamwork, and content creation—all while making learning about food exciting and accessible for young audiences.

The Speakin Da Youth podcast program was a powerful, 6-month journey that allowed high school students to find their voice, express their ideas, and build real-world media skills through podcast creation. Through weekly sessions, students explored every stage of the podcasting process—from brainstorming and scriptwriting to recording, editing, and publishing.
We focused not just on technical skills, but also on personal growth. Students learned how to collaborate, communicate, and take ownership of their ideas. They interviewed guests, led conversations, and even created original segments that reflected their personalities and perspectives.
Each participant found their niche: some became strong hosts, others excelled in editing or content creation, and a few discovered their talents in humor, set design, or leading their peers. By the end of the program, students had created multiple episodes, found their voices, and supported one another as a team.
Speakin Da Youth wasn't just a podcast class—it was a space for growth, creativity, leadership, and truth-telling.

Over 12 sessions, WeCare & iCreate will work with the children of Empowered Youth to help facilitate self discovery as we help them unmask their given talents, embrace teamwork, and develop young entrepreneurs. With guidance, small groups will be challenged to create their product or service, produce an effective marketing strategy, and display their business at a small family festival. Each child will have the opportunity to express themselves and their ideas; allowing them the chance to nurture their thoughts and ambitions.

Comic Book program
The Comic Book Class was an engaging and collaborative experience designed to introduce students to the art of visual storytelling. Throughout the program, students explored key creative elements including teamwork, character development, storyboarding, the color wheel, and varied drawing styles.
A major focus of the class was helping students understand the difference between comic books and comic strips, sparking thoughtful conversations about format, pacing, and narrative design. Given the wide range of skill levels in the room, we embraced accessibility by using stick figure illustrations—a creative and inclusive solution that allowed every student to contribute equally.
Each student played a role in shaping the story, and together we built a comic book where every page reflected the unique voice and creativity of each participant. Whether through writing, drawing, or collaborating on ideas, students developed confidence in visual expression and storytelling while learning the value of shared creative vision.

In a world where fast food is convenient and home cooking is fading, many families face barriers to accessing nutritious meals and the skills to make them.
Teaspoon of Love addresses this with heart and purpose:
We uplift food literacy, especially in underserved communities.
We teach families how to prepare affordable, health-supportive meals rooted in African, Hispanic, and Asian traditions.
We show that wellness doesn’t mean giving up flavor; it means embracing it with intention.
